As part of the exhibition Heroes of Greece. The Age of Troy, Pointe-à-Callière is holding a series of wine-tasting workshops.

This first session will explore the major Greek grapes and their distinctive characteristics, millennia-old history, and contemporary expression. Iconic varietals such as Assyrtiko, Agiorgitiko, Xinomavro, and Moschofilero exemplify the rich diversity of Greek vineyards shaped by a land of contrasting terroirs and a winemaking tradition that goes back to ancient times. The workshop will draw connections between indigenous grape varieties, local traditions, and wine styles while stressing the renascent quality and unique identity of Greek wines on the international stage.

This two-hour workshop will include a tasting of six different wines served with a selection of cheeses, charcuteries, and breads served as appetizers.

The workshop will be led by renowned sommelier and wine communicator and commentator Patrick Blondin, who has been sharing his passion for wine for over 20 years.
