Solstice

Solstice est l'un des groupes de folklore celtique les plus sensationnels et prolifiques du Canada. Basé à Montréal, Solstice a charmé ses spectateurs à travers l'Amérique du Nord et l'Europe pendant plus d'une décennie avec ses spectacles énergiques et dynamiques qui démontrent la qualité unique du folklore celtique incorporant des éléments de Bluegrass et musique canadienne des Maritimes. Le groupe est composé de Patrick Lesyk à la guitare acoustique et voix principale, Kate Bevan-Baker au violon et David Gossage aux flutes et sifflets.

Solstice is one of Canada’s most exciting and prolific Celtic folk bands. Based in Montreal, Solstice have been delighting audiences across North America and Europe for over a decade with their explosive live performances showcasing their unique brand of Celtic folk that incorporates elements of Bluegrass and Canadian Maritime music. The band is comprised of Patrick Lesyk on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Kate Bevan-Baker on fiddle, and Dave Gossage on flutes and whistles.

Road to Connolly

Road To Connolly est un groupe de 4 musiciens qui ont étudié à l'Université Bishop's. Ils se sont rencontrés en jouant ensemble pendant leurs cours universitaires en 2020 et sont amis depuis. Parmi les membres se trouvent Amy et Andrew Rutherford, anciens élèves de la RRHS, animés par une passion pour la musique. Le groupe joue de la musique irlandaise et celtique, utilisant divers instruments tels que la guitare, le sifflet en étain, le piano et la basse pour compléter leur son. Ils résident actuellement à North Hatley et enregistrent un album en studio sous le nom de One To Walk. Ils sont impatients de partager leur musique dans l'esprit de la Saint-Patrick.

Road To Connolly is a group of 4 musicians who studied at Bishop’s University. They met jamming together in their university courses in 2020 and have been friends ever since. Among the members are Amy and Andrew Rutherford - RRHS alumni with a passion for music. The group plays Irish and Celtic music, using various instruments including guitar, penny whistle, piano, and bass to complete their sound. They are currently living in North Hatley and recording a studio album under the name One To Walk. They can’t wait to share their music in the spirit of St-Patrick’s Day.
