SANHITA NANDI

Viduahi Sanhita Nandi is a highly acclaimed Hindustani Classical singer in the Kirana Gharana. She received her training under the guidance of the Late Pandit A. Kanan from ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata and also received guidance from Pandit Vinayak Torvi. She is currently under the advanced tutelage of Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan. Her style is characterized by sequencing of melodic Raga Bhava enriched Merukhand patterns in Vilambit (slow tempo), executed primarily through tonal embellishments such as Meends (glissando), Kan swaras (fractional notes) and elegant use of Sargam. Sanhita Nandi is currently based in New Delhi (India) and NJ (USA), performs frequently in India and abroad at all the prime music festivals and concerts. She has received great recognition and reviews on her mastery over the delivery of pitch, tonal precision, use of microtones and tone-fragments, the main characterization of Kirana Gharana.

Sushant Anantram

Sushant Anantharam is a musician who was initiated into Vocal Carnatic music by his mother at the age of 7. He later pursued Vocal Hindustani music and received training from various teachers. He is currently receiving advanced training from Sri. Narendra Datar of the Agra gharana and performs concerts in the Greater Toronto Area. Sushant also had formative training in the harmonium and has performed several Harmonium concerts in various countries.

Rigved Deshpande

Rigved Deshapande is an accomplished tabla player, having studied under the guidance of esteemed gurus Pt. Chandrashekar Vaze, Shri Swapnil Bhate, and currently under Pt. Ramdas Palsule. He has accompanied renowned artists in India such as Pt Padma Talwalkar, Pt. Shaunak Abhisheki, Vid Archana Kanhere and among others. Also performed in various prestigious events such as Sawai Gandharva-Bhimsen Mahotsav, Devgandharva Mahotsava and moved to Toronto recently.
