Back by popular demand, Match-Moi is hosting another English edition of its famous trivia night for singles, hosted by comedian John Cotrocois.

Love trivia nights? Ready to step a little outside your comfort zone? You’re in the right place!

Come grab a drink and test your general knowledge in teams of 4–6. The twist? We’re the ones creating the teams—so you’ll get to meet brand-new people. The double twist? Everyone’s single.

The quiz starts at 8 p.m. We recommend arriving about 30 minutes early to grab a drink and chat with other participants before the show starts. (That’s why the event is officially set to begin at 7:30 p.m.) We will be about 80 people in total for the event.

The goal isn’t speed dating, and it’s not meant to feel like one of those structured matchmaking events either. It’s simply an excuse for a room full of single people to hang out, play trivia, and have a good night.

Here’s how the evening works:

When you arrive, we’ll place you at a temporary table so it’s easy to start chatting with a few people right away.

At 8:00 PM, the trivia officially begins.

You’ll be placed in a team of 4–6 people, and we reshuffle the teams between rounds. There are three rounds total, so you’ll naturally meet different people during the night without it feeling rushed or forced.

After the game, people usually stay for drinks and keep talking.

Many people come on their own, and that’s totally normal. The whole idea is to make it easy to meet people without the pressure of apps or speed dating.

It’s hosted by comedian John Cotrocois, so expect some laughs and a pretty relaxed atmosphere overall.

**If you prefer a more structured environment where you’re guided through conversations, we suggest attending a speed dating event instead. MATCH MOI events are all about independence and organic connections.
