Music. Colors. Hope. SYNESTHESIA.

The Synesthesia is the incredible ability to perceive colors in sounds. In this multidisciplinary performance, that brings together music and visual arts, we will witness this fusion.

In this concert, the mezzo-soprano Mariana De la Rosa, and the pianist Aline Vanroy will captivate us with an eclectic repertoire, while we will admire Étienne Saint-Amant’s contemporary artwork in the form of dynamic projections. The colors pointed out by each musical piece`s synesthetic interpretation will be printed in these visual pieces, making this performance a unique experience. Musical pieces by Schubert, Fauré, Glinka and Yamada will transport, while others like “O sole mio”, “Rossignol de mes amours” and the colorful “Brasil” will arouse enthusiasm, and why not? Make you feel like dancing a little.

Synesthesia: Music and colors will be an opportunity to remind us how we united as humanity during this pandemic. An opportunity to remind us how much music and art can feed our soul. An amazing opportunity to highlight that we are here, to celebrate life.
