For its GALA SERIES, the festival is programming two great friends ! 

Pianist Matt Herskowitz and violinist Alexandre Da Costa have known each other for more than 20 years. Together, they traveled across Canada and the United States from east to west and developed a deep friendship that translates on stage into exceptional complicity.

Matt is a phenomenal pianist who is equally at home in classical and jazz, in addition to being a composer and improviser recognized throughout the world. The combination of the two personalities of these virtuosos promises a unique concert filled with creativity, improvisation, exoticism and musical acrobatics.
