A festive concert with a Scottish touch for the official launch of the new group BOUSSAROQUE.

Boussaroque plays a « urban folk » mix of Scottish, Gaelic and Quebec music. Montreal singer Ingried Boussaroque is at the heart of this project. From a long stay in Scotland, she brought back songs as beautiful as the country's landscapes, and many stories linking Quebec and Scotland. She is joined by Mario Giroux on the cello, François Pelletier (voice, guitar, banjo), and Dominique Laguë on the human beatbox.

The public has the option to start the evening at 6:30 with a Scotch whisky tasting, guided by Toby Lyle, curator at the Burgundy Lion.
Scottish specialities will also be served during the event. The concert itself will start at 8.

This event is presented in partnership with the Burgundy Lion and the Centre culturel Georges-Vanier.
