Twenty years after his Montreal beginnings, the Algerian-Quebecois singer, now based in Brittany, returns to where it all started. After a sold-out performance at the Olympia in Paris celebrating twenty years of music and five albums, Labess continues to make borders dance with his gypsy-chaabi style, infused with influences from the Maghreb and Eastern Europe. Carried by his raspy, soulful voice, his music celebrates freedom, roots, and hope, a festive and tender blend of humanity. His latest album, Dima libre, was released in 2024.
