MLou (Marie-Lou Brière-Berthelot), Gaspésie singer-songwriter native of Caplan, semi-finalist at Ma première place des arts 2023, has a few EPs under her belt and has a fairly impressive track record for around ten years, including opening for the Boulay sisters' shows. She will present French-speaking songs taken from her repertoire and her new album to be released in May, Reflets. She will be accompanied by Martin Hogan.

Biography
MLou, a singer-songwriter from Caplan, immerses herself in seascapes and local culture to nourish her musical passion. Debuting with an EP in 2015, she is paving her way in the industry. His second EP, “Trajectoires”, produced in 2020 by Dimitri LeBel, reveals her artistic maturity. MLou has shared her talents on various stages, from intimate shows to large productions, and has shone at prestigious events such as La Voix in 2018 and Ma Première Place des Arts in 2023. With Martin Hogan, she explores new sonic horizons by shaping a pop-rock-folk musical mix. In May 2024, her first full album opens up new opportunities on the Gaspé music scenes, marking an important step in his fast-rising musical career.
