This tour heralds the TBSO’s first return to Hearst after many years, the first ever visit to Long Lake #58 First Nation and return visits to Red Rock, Nipigon and Geraldton. Our eastern tour gives audiences access to music closer to home, and includes symphonic gems ranging from Mozart and Beethoven to movie music and original songs featuring our special guest, Shy-Anne Hovorka. Of special interest will be the performance of 3 favourite traditional indigenous songs arranged to include the symphony with young drummers from the Red Rock Indian Band! Catch themes from Harry Potter to Habanera.

Repertoire:
Mozart, Magic Flute Overture; Elgar, Salut d’Amour; Beethoven, Symphony No. 2; Original songs by Shy-Anne Hovorka; Traditional songs including Bear Song, and more!
