Maryze

Maryze is a bilingual singer-songwriter based in Montreal, originally from Vancouver. Her haunting alt-pop conjures an intimate universe, blending contagious beats with introspective lyrics on mental health, feminism and sexuality. Balancing angst and euphoria in electronic ballads, she offers a refreshing voice with fiery honesty.

After releasing her debut EP Like Moons in 2019 to acclaim from CBC and Bitch Magazine, Maryze toured the US and Canada, ending at the POP Montreal and Fringe festivals. Her songs were featured on top editorial Apple Music & Spotify playlists and climbed Spotify’s Viral 50 Canada chart. She was named #2 Best Electronic Act in Cult Mtl’s Best of MTL 2020 readers poll. Maryze’s first full-length album is set for release in 2021 on the Hot Tramp label.
