For this South American–accented concert, two internationally renowned artists, Brazilian singer Catina DeLuna and Venezuelan pianist Otmaro Ruíz, join forces with young virtuoso performers from the UdeM Big Band. Catina DeLuna is recognized for her rich and multicolored voice, whose charm possesses a touch of nostalgia. An eclectic musician, Otmaro Ruíz has performed around the world, taking on rock, fusion, jazz and Latin music with equal felicity. An evening not to be missed!
