Danny Adhim's short film Fall Awake sparks discussion on themes of sobriety, suicidal thoughts, and loneliness in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fall Awake follows the story of two depressed souls in the midst of a pandemic who meet on a cityscape rooftop to jump together. Layla is a recovering addict edging on losing her sobriety and Jobe is a regular loner diagnosed with Cancer.
