Hello all you beautiful people! The seasons have finally changed, bringing brighter days, warmer nights and all the time in the world to make lasting memories with family and friends, old and new! Join us by the bright glow of The BAr Lashop UV lights as we celebrate spring and new beginnings - packing away your winter coat and dusting off those good old dancing shoes! Let yourself move and groove with uplifting music from Tesqui, Pithra, Nikoli and DASA - and let yourself be captivated by circus performances by Cirquonscient, live art by KoAla SnugSlug and an emerging VJ art battle! As always, costumes are not required, but highly encouraged (think UV reactive body paint and or clothing) - whatever you need to feel the vibe and unleash your beautiful spirit that may have been laying a little dormant over the winter months! Basscamp, Music.Art.Ppl, and our hosts The Bar Lashop, aim to offer safer and inclusive dance spaces for all. Inappropriate and unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. We encourage everyone to not hesitate to bring to our attention anything you think that we should be made aware of. Cirquonscient is a collective of Ottawa based circus artists with a desire to promote awareness of contemporary cultural and social topics interpretatively through circus and other art forms both nationally and internationally.
