The Festival de cinéma de la Ville de Québec and Les Violons du Roy are collaborating for a second time to present the masterpiece Le mécano de la Générale in a film-concert format. Co-directed in 1926 by Clyde Bruckman and Buster Keaton, who plays the role of the mechanic, this mythical comedy is a black and white classic where spy, love story, kidnapping and stunts on the tracks!

The original music will be composed and directed by Quebec composer, pianist and conductor Gabriel Thibaudeau, one of the world’s greatest silent film accompanists and performed by the Orchestre des Violons du Roy.
