Le FFKFF vous convie au Fulford Community Hall pour une soirée spéciale autour du cinéma de la réalisatrice Pepita Ferrari, imaginée par des proches, ami·e·s et collaborateurs qui ont souhaité revoir et partager son œuvre.
Le Festival y présentera The Unsexing of Emma Edmonds, un film sensible et singulier qui explore le destin fascinant d’Emma Edmonds — une femme ayant vécu déguisée en homme durant la guerre de Sécession. À travers ce récit, Pepita Ferrari aborde avec finesse les questions d’identité, de liberté et de transformation de soi.
La projection sera précédée d’une introduction et suivie d’une discussion avec Louis Piché, avant de se poursuivre autour d’une dégustation vin & fromage dans l’atmosphère chaleureuse du Centre communautaire Fulford.
L’événement est présenté en collaboration avec le Fulford Community Hall et commandité par le vignoble La Belle Alliance

The FFKFF invites you to the Fulford Community Hall for a special evening dedicated to the cinema of director Pepita Ferrari, organized by the family, friends, and collaborators who wished to revisit and share her work.
The Festival will present The Unsexing of Emma Edmonds, a sensitive and unique film that explores the fascinating fate of Emma Edmonds—a woman who lived disguised as a man during the American Civil War. Through this narrative, Pepita Ferrari delicately addresses questions of identity, freedom, and self-transformation.
The screening will be preceded by an introduction and followed by a discussion with Louis Piché, before continuing with a wine and cheese tasting in the warm atmosphere of the Fulford Community Hall.
