To welcome you for the first time, Place des Arts and its seven founding organizations are pleased to invite you to a joyous open house evening with art installations and exhibits, performances by artists from northern Ontario, DJs and more. Admire the new building and feel the vibe of your new cultural destination during this easy-going evening event that aims mostly to allow you to explore your surroundings!
Starting at 7 PM, you can start with bites and beverages at the Bistro or head out right away to discover lovely halls and spaces that still smell brand-new.
Because quite a few people may show up, we hope that you’ll want to go with the flow, so as to allow other guests to come through after you. It’s a large building, but capacity isn’t unlimited, so please let us know if and when you intend to come.

Place des Arts does not have its own parking lot, we encourage you to use the downtown parking.
Parking fees can be paid using your mobile device and the HotSpot Parking app.
You can also pay at the parking meter if you prefer.
However, city parking (B10) and parking along Elgin and Larch streets is free in the evenings and on weekends.
