Sons of Arrakis (SOA) est un groupe montréalais formé en juin 2019, puisant son inspiration dans la saga Dune de Frank Herbert. Leur son unique, un mélange de riffs puissants et d’ambiances sci-fi, a été qualifié de Melange Rock et de Cinématique Sci-Fi Rock, captivant public et critiques.

Leur premier album, Volume I (2022), s’est hissé à la première place des Doom Charts (juin 2022) et s’est classé huitième dans le récapitulatif de fin d’année. Leur très attendu second album, Volume II (2024), a atteint la troisième place des Doom Charts (juillet 2022) et s’est inscrit dans le Top 10 du classement annuel 2024, affirmant ainsi leur place sur la scène heavy rock.

Après plusieurs tournées à travers le Québec, le Canada et le Mexique, SOA a entamé son premier voyage aux États-Unis en janvier 2025 avec The Great Scattering - Part II aux côtés de Salem’s Bend, jouant en Californie et au Nevada. Ce périple les a également menés au Planet Desert Rock Weekend, marquant une première incursion dans le circuit américain du stoner rock.

En 2025, Sons of Arrakis poursuivent leur expansion aux États-Unis avec la tournée Shai-Hulud Odyssey 2025, transportant leur heavy rock cinématographique et inspiré de la science-fiction vers de nouveaux horizons.

Sons of Arrakis (SOA) is a Montreal-based band, formed in June 2019 and deeply inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune saga. Their unique sound, a fusion of heavy riffs and sci-fi atmospheres, has been described as Melange Rock and Cinematic Sci-Fi Rock, captivating audiences and critics alike.

Their debut album, Volume I (2022), quickly climbed to #1 on the Doom Chart (June 2022) and secured the #8 spot in the year-end recap. Their much-anticipated second album, Volume II (2024), reached #3 on the Doom Chart (July 2024) and earned a place in the Top 10 of the 2024 year-end rankings, further solidifying their impact in the heavy rock scene.

SOA has toured extensively across Quebec, Canada and Mexico, and in January 2025, they embarked on their first US venture with The Great Scattering - Part II alongside Salem’s Bend, making their debut in California and Nevada. During this tour, they also took part in the Planet Desert Rock Weekend IV, expanding their presence in the American stoner rock circuit.

In 2025, Sons of Arrakis continue their expansion into the United States with the Shai-Hulud Odyssey 2025, bringing their cinematic, sci-fi-infused heavy rock to new frontiers.

Ecstatic Vision est un groupe de rock psychédélique lourd originaire de Philadelphie, réputé pour ses performances scéniques déchaînées et son son brut aux allures tribales et hallucinées. Depuis sa formation en 2013, le groupe a imposé un style unique qui fusionne psychédélisme lourd, krautrock cosmique, rythmes afrobeat et proto-metal des années 70.

Avec des albums salués par la critique, notamment Sonic Praise, Raw Rock Fury et For the Masses, sortis sur Heavy Psych Sounds et Relapse Records, Ecstatic Vision rend hommage à des groupes comme Hawkwind, Amon Düül II et Monster Magnet tout en traçant sa propre voie visionnaire.

Since forming in 2013, the band has carved a unique path through the underground rock scene with a fusion of heavy psychedelia, cosmic krautrock, Afrobeat rhythms, and early ‘70s proto-metal. Their music is a chaotic yet cohesive blend of fuzz-drenched guitars, raw vocals, hypnotic percussion, and explosive saxophone solos.

Originaire d’Athènes en Grèce, Acid Mammoth est un groupe de doom metal formé par le duo père-fils Chris et Dimosthenis Babalis. Depuis sa création en 2015, le groupe s’est imposé dans la scène underground grâce à ses riffs massifs saturés de fuzz, ses ambiances occultes et ses grooves envoûtants. Leur musique s’inspire de Black Sabbath et Electric Wizard, tout en y ajoutant une touche moderne, baignée d'acide.

Parmi leurs albums les plus remarqués figurent Under Acid Hoof (2020) et Caravan (2021), tous deux parus chez Heavy Psych Sounds. Ces opus ont été salués pour leur puissance sonore écrasante et leur atmosphère immersive.
