Caroline Planté, internationally renowned flamenco guitarist and composer, is recognized for the quality and originality of her creations. She has more than 30 years of stage experience and has participated in the development, composition and performance of several major shows, notably in Canada, the United States, several European countries and Spain, where she was musical director of the Cruceta Flamenco troupe in Madrid for 9 years.  Her show 4FLAMENCOS is intended to be a musical journey that combines modernity and tradition to the rhythm of his music and flamenco.

This concert is tinged with rich moments of sharing with his wonderful accomplices such as the guitarist Manuel Vázquez, the singer Fernando Galle-go (who came directly from San Fernando, Cádiz) and Miguel Medina, percussionist. Come travel with us under the Spanish sun!

Caroline Planté

Internationally renowned guitarist and composer recognized for the quality and originality of her creations, Caroline Planté began learning flamenco guitar at the age of seven with her father, Marcel Planté “El Rubio”.A rare woman to play flamenco guitar professionally, she has 30 years of stage experience as a composer, soloist and performer and has participated in the development, composition and performance of several major shows, notably in Canada, in the United States and Spain (including 6 of the Cruceta Flamenco shows in Madrid from 2005 to 2013 for which she acted as musical director and guitarist).In 2010, she launched her first album, 8reflexiones, recorded in Madrid at the legendary Musigrama studio. The album achieved great success around the world.After a 10-year career in Spain, from where she toured the Americas and Europe, the immense need to be close to her family and to continue her journey in her hometown repatriated her to Montreal in 2013.Since then, she has created and presented several projects: Sello (2013), Vuelo directo, Polymorphies (2014), Voyages (2017), The train of 57 strings (Prix Accès culture RIDEAU 2017-2018) and collaborates with different flamenco artists and different horizons.
