Noël des campeurs et cinéma d’hiver en plein été
Le Festival du Film de Knowlton vous donne rendez-vous au Complexe Saint-Édouard pour une soirée aussi chaleureuse qu’insolite, avec un film qui nous plonge au cœur de l’hiver polaire en plein cœur de l’été, en clin d’œil au célèbre Noël des campeurs.
Le Festival y présentera Marche au pays du réel, en présence de la réalisatrice Marie-France L’Ecuyer et du scénariste Samuel Lalande-Markon. Ce documentaire sensible et contemplatif suit deux aventuriers qui entreprennent la traversée intégrale du Québec en hiver, tout en réfléchissant à la géographie humaine et physique du territoire québécois.
La projection sera suivie d’une discussion avec les artistes invités… puis la soirée se poursuivra dans l’esprit festif et rassembleur du Noël des campeurs, avec quelques surprises hivernales au cœur de l’été.

Christmas in July and Winter Cinema in the Heart of Summer
The Knowlton Film Festival invites you to the Saint-Édouard Complex for an evening as cozy as it is unusual, featuring a film that plunges us into the heart of the polar winter in the middle of summer—a nod to the famous Quebec tradition of Noël des campeurs.
The Festival will present Marche au pays du réel, in the presence of director Marie-France L’Ecuyer and screenwriter Samuel Lalande-Markon. This sensitive and contemplative documentary follows two adventurers undertaking a complete crossing of Quebec in winter, while reflecting on the human and physical geography of the territory.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the guest artists... and the evening will continue in the festive and community spirit of "Christmas in July," with a few winter surprises in the heat of summer.
