Billianne

At just 20 years old, Billianne is on a roll. The best musical product to come out of Milton, Ontario since Deadmau5, she released her first EP The Things We Talk About in July 2023, and has since racked up enviable success, including as a support act for Julia Jacklin and Half Moon Run, but above all astronomical numbers on various platforms. Nearly a million monthly listeners on Spotify and 600K followers on Tiktok, thanks to original compositions and a Tina Turner cover that reached two million streams in just a few weeks. But aside from her numbers, what really stands out about Billianne in the end is the sweet beauty of her voice, which she masters to perfection, and her nostalgic folk compositions, which are as simple as they are authentic.

ALICE

ALICE is the solo project of Alice Tougas (previously a member of Canailles), who for the past few years has been transposing her messed-up love stories into songs on her Wurlitzer. Supported by her musicians, affectionately named "Les Estis de Boys" (David Marchand, Paul Dawson, Eliott Durocher Bundock, Étienne Côté and Alex Burger - the latter also acting as a producer), she has fashioned a first collection of pieces, for which she signs both music and lyrics (advised on the latter by Stéphane Lafleur). To be released on Costume Records, the EP Du love à revendre features groovy compositions that make you want to shuffle your feet.
