Presented by the Manoir-Papineau National Historic Site, "Tales from the shadow" is intended to be an immersive experience straight out of the 19th century. Touring the grand estate of Louis-Joseph Papineau will introduce you to a special caracter who will not hesitate to reveal secrets and customs of the upper middle class.

The tour begins with a short guided walk lit by a lantern in the forest. You will visit a few rooms on the upper floor where the rumors will not be discreet. 

* "Tales from the shadow" is different but complementary to the usual daily tours. You could have visited the manor during the day and revisit it in the evening without redundancy.

Duration: Approximately 90 minutes (including walking time)

Fees: Admission fee payable by phone only. An employee will reach you to proceed. No transaction will be made on site before the tour. 

Adult: $17.50

Senior (person 65 years of age or over): $16.00

Youth (person 10 to 17 years of age ): $8.50

Not recommanded for children under 12 years old

The tour requires a physical effort. It is not accessible to people with restricted physical ability
