Né à Montréal de parents haïtiens, je suis un artiste façonné par la diversité culturelle de ma ville natale. Mon style musical fusionne hip-hop, jazz, neo-soul et sonorités africaines, traduisant un parcours artistique riche et métissé. 

Dès mon jeune âge, le théâtre, le chant et la batterie m’ont initié à la scène, mais c’est dans le hip-hop que j’ai trouvé ma voix. À travers AFROPOLOGIE, mon projet musical phare, je raconte l’histoire d’un Montréalais imprégné des cultures du monde. 

Kim Dominique

Kym Dominique-Ferguson is a Montreal-based writer, spoken word artist, actor, and mentor of Jamaican and Haitian descent. Rooted in his Caribbean heritage, his work explores themes of identity, resilience, and cultural storytelling. A graduate of Concordia University’s Film Production program, Ferguson is one of the four primary writers of BLACKOUT: The Concordia Computer Riots and the creator of Dear Black Man, a critically acclaimed play supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Cole Foundation and Black Theatre Workshop. As founder of Madpoetix Productions, he curates platforms like Inside Madpoetix Studios and mentors emerging artists. 

Ferguson is a vibrant presence in Montreal’s spoken word scene, regularly participating in Open Mic and Slam Poetry events such as Lecture Lagos Readings, MicdUp Mtl, and Throw Poetry Slam. By engaging with both emerging and established artists, he strives to bridge generational divides and foster a stronger, more connected artistic community. His dynamic performances and commitment to amplifying diverse voices make him a vital force in the arts. 

Handro

Handro is an A-List Independent Artist who comes from a Spanish, Portuguese and Ecuadorian background, who grew up on the west side of Montreal, in the Villeray & Plateau districts. His dreams of pursuing a music career started by freestyling and writing in junior high and he quickly transformed his craft as he rose up the ranks of what it means to be a true independent artist. For Handro, music has always been his truest form of artistic expression. His main musical inspiration is 50 Cent as he not only grew up listening to his music but also admires his versatility and evolution from being a successful rapper to a successful businessman and actor. On top of being an amazing rapper, Handro has taught himself everything from recording, to production, to writing.  

Lara

Lara: jeune chanteuse de la relève, est âgée de 24 ans. D’origine haïtienne et suisse, elle est née en Haïti avant de grandir à Terrebonne, au Canada, au sein d’une grande famille aimante dirigée par sa mère monoparentale. La musique a toujours occupé une place centrale dans son quotidien, rythmant les soupers familiaux avec des genres variés, du rap au bossa nova, en passant par le kompa. 

Son enfance a été marquée par un équilibre entre le sport, la chorale, qu’elle a fréquentée pendant trois ans, et les responsabilités familiales. Cependant, le décès de sa mère a bouleversé sa trajectoire, la poussant à mettre ses études de côté pour entrer rapidement dans le monde du travail. 

C’est dans la musique que Lara a trouvé refuge. Depuis un an et demi, elle écrit et compose pour exprimer ses émotions, partager son vécu et tisser des liens profonds avec son public. Véritable exutoire, la musique est devenue pour elle une mission et une passion. 

2025 marque un tournant pour Lara, qui ambitionne de sortir davantage de titres, d’améliorer son contenu et de faire entendre sa voix sur la scène musicale. Avec une histoire empreinte de résilience et un style authentique, Lara est une artiste à suivre de près. 

Nikka The Tomboy

Nikka the Tomboy is an emerging force in the rap scene, known for her unapologetic style, raw lyricism, and distinctive sound that defies genre boundaries. Hailing from Montreal, QC, Canada, Nikka brings a unique blend of street-smart rhymes and introspective storytelling, drawing inspiration from her experiences as a woman navigating a predominantly male-dominated industry. Her persona has earned her recognition as a trailblazer for those who don't fit into the conventional mold of mainstream hip-hop. 

GOALS With a passion for challenging societal norms and pushing back against stereotypes, Nikka’s music is a reflection of her journey—a celebration of resilience, confidence, and self-expression. Whether she’s spitting fiery bars or singing about empowerment, social justice, or her own personal struggles, her lyrics resonate with listeners from all walks of life. As a self-proclaimed “tomboy,” she embodies the essence of breaking barriers and embracing individuality without compromise. 

MILESTONES Her breakout tracks, such as HOPSCOTCH and SPICY WHITE, have garnered critical acclaim for their captivating hooks and razor-sharp delivery, making her one of the most exciting voices to watch in the underground scene. Nikka's musical influences are as diverse as her upbringing—drawing from both classic hip-hop legends and contemporary innovators, she has crafted a sound that is both timeless and ahead of its time.

KaMa

KaMa est un rappeur d’origines congolaises ayant grandi dans le quartier Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. S’étant révélé à la scène underground locale par de nombreux freestyles et cyphers depuis 2018, son EP Négritude & Sang Vol.2, publié en Janvier 2024 a retenti au sein de la scène Hip Hip émergente, ne laissant personne indifférent. 

KaMa est félicité pour sa technicité au micro et son écriture qui ne manque jamais d’interpeller l’auditeur, soit grâce à des egotrips habilement filés ou à des références sociopolitiques, historiques, des fois même religieuses. L'artiste a pour ambition, au fil de sa carrière, de continuer à étayer son univers artistique qu'il nomme "Existentialisme Noir". 

Channel

Originally from Lebanon, Chanel Cheiban began her career as a performer and choreographer in a variety of artistic projects in Tio’tia:ke (Montréal). In 2025, she presented at Tangente her multidisciplinary project El kamar bi zaher, in which she perform and choreograph. She presents PLAYGROUND at Tangente in 2022, a co-creation with Maude Laurin-Beaulieu. She initiated Wholeness Movement in 2020, a project that promotes exchange between members of the Montreal community and a return to nature. 

Geraldine & Fée Labelle

Géraldine-Clarence Kamnaing est une étudiante de la danse, étant donné son parcours au Cégep Montmorency en danse contemporaine ainsi que ses débuts à l’UQAM en pratique artistique. Propulsée par une enseignante inspirante alors qu’elle faisait partie d’un groupe de danse parascolaire au secondaire, elle entame un approfondissement de son besoin d’expression par le mouvement. Elle apprend à travers divers enseignements comment créer, interpréter et apprécier cette culture d’art vivante à sa manière. D’ailleurs, elle est principalement marquée par la culture Hip Hop et son histoire profonde. Selon elle, le freestyle est un moyen de partager nos témoignages personnels.  

Nos passages se sont croisés au cégep Montmorency dans la cohorte de danse de 2024. De plus, nous avons suivi le programme d’Educate and Dance qui prônait la compréhension de notre corps et du groove. Bien que nos expériences personnelles soient variées, notre passion commune pour la culture Hip Hop nous a rapprochés. Nous avons décidé d’approfondir notre lien pendant et après notre graduation du DEC. C’est par nos échanges en studio, nos discussions en sortant de pratiques et notre première expérience d’un battle 2v2 que l’envie de s’unir pour partager s’est concrétisée. Étant des artistes émergentes, on cherche constamment à se connaître en naviguant dans ce monde fructueux d’expériences qui ne fait que solliciter plus de questions en nous.

Masha

Masha was born in Belarus, and moved to Canada at the age of 9 years old with her family.  

In 2015, she started her dance in journey. She began as a student of salsa and bachata, and then kizomba and semba.  

Through those 2 Angolan dances, she discovered Afrohouse and Kuduro, which have been her main disciplines since.  

Today, she is a performer of African Street Dance in general, which includes the styles of Ndombolo, Naija Fusion, Azonto, Amapiano, and of course Afrohouse and Kuduro.  

In 2024, she has began her teaching career of her specialization: Afrohouse
