On Sunday, July 20th, the Montreal Improv stage becomes the battleground for the ultimate character showdown!
Inspired by the WWE Royal Rumble — but with no steel chairs, no tables, and no one getting thrown over the top rope — this is a competition of charisma, commitment, and comedy in a series of short-form scenes.
Twenty improvisers will enter, one will win.
Each performer brings a unique gimmick, persona, or exaggerated version of themselves. The twist - no one knows who they’ll face when they step onto the stage. Every scene is a surprise. Every matchup is a wild card. And at the end of each round, the audience decides who stays… and who gets eliminated!
The only thing guaranteed is unpredictability — from signature poses and dramatic entrances to shocking eliminations and improvised rivalries. The last performer standing will be crowned the first-ever winner of Improv Rumble!
Improv Rumble is proud to annouce that it is also a fundraiser for an improv festival - joins us for fun improv and raffle events with prizes that will make you go YES!

Get ready for five glorious days of unscripted brilliance this fall, as Montreal welcomes a brand-new celebration of all things improv. Le Grand Yes And is here to spotlight the vibrant, hilarious, and wildly creative world of local and visiting improvisers.

This venue is located down a set of 12 stairs with a handrail and is not wheelchair accessible.

Impro Montréal / Montreal Improv operates on the storied and sacred lands of Tiohtiá:ke, a historical gathering place of many First Nations and indigenous communities, including the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Atikamekw, Algonquin-Anishinaabe and Huron-Wendat, among others.
