Défendant le pop-punk et le pop-rock depuis plus de 20 ans, Kamakazi a plus de 300 concerts au Canada et en Europe à leur actif et plusieurs milliers d’albums vendus, ils ont, plusieurs singles classés numéro 1 à la radio et des diffusions sur des chaînes musicales telles que MuchMusic et MusiquePlus ici et à l’étranger. Pour célébrer leur 20e anniversaire, Kamakazi a annoncé la sortie de son 5e album studio 'À tort et à raison' avec le retour de la formation originale. Kamakazi en concert, c'est des riffs accrocheurs, des paroles qui restent dans la tête et le parfait moment à passer entre amis et familles.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Kamakazi announced the release of their 5th studio album 'À tort et à raison' with the return of the original band members. After over 15 years of rockin’ out in various bands, Sébastien Filiatrault and Bruno Longpré, AKA Rat & Burger for the intimates, totally left out one day, gathered around a messy table with a gazillion Pabst Blue Ribbon, 2 guitars and the will to take over the world. Since the release of their first EP Turbo Power Excellent in 2012, pretty much all the underground punk rock scene from the Province of Québec started to have its eyes set on this new phenomenon hailing from Santa-Teresa that was The Matchup. Following up the next year with Alternative To Metal, the band delivered some of its most memorable anthems, including Welcome Tomorrow, Follow Me Home, The Game and Low. Quickly, the band gathered a stronger following to its concerts mostly with the power of their music and that, right after the release of the third EP 'Cool Your Djent' (2015). From now on, the guys are more driven than ever to write a whole new chapter in the Matchup’s history, leading them to join forces with Hell For Breakfast to o????icially launch Straight to the Core. As their popularity skyrockets with an ever-growing fanbase, they took the decision to release a string of incredible singles, starting with Situations in May 2024 and then You Got The Music later in October. Since then, they are working on new singles which should come out soon.

Après plus de 15 ans à rocker dans des bands di????érents, Sébastien Filiatrault et Bruno Longpré, alias Rat & Burger pour les intimes, ont décidé de se rejoindre autour d’une table remplie de Pabst avec deux guitares et l’envie de conquérir le monde. Depuis la sortie de leur premier EP Turbo Power Excellent en 2012, toute la scène underground punk-rock du Québec a commencé à garder un œil sur ce phénomène tout droit venu de Sainte-Thérèse. L’année suivante, avec Alternative To Metal, le band a o????ert au public leur hymnes les plus mémorables, avec Welcome Tomorrow, Follow Me Home, The Game et Low. Rapidement, le band capte énormément d’attention et le nombre de fans ne cesse de grossir, grâce au pouvoir de leur musique et ce juste après la sortie de leur troisième EP 'Cool Your Djent' (2015). Maintenant, les gars sont plus motivés que jamais et sont prêts à écrire un nouveau chapitre dans l’histoire des Matchup, les liant d’amitié avec le label Hell For Breakfast pour o????iciellement sortir Straight to the Core.
