Join Shari Chaskin for her 8th Annual Holiday Concert, an intimate and soulful celebration filled with beautiful Christmas music, heartfelt stories, laughter, and a few wonderful surprises.

Shari has a rare ability to make a song feel personal. With her powerful, expressive voice and unmistakable warmth, she invites you into each story and creates the feeling that you’re not simply watching a concert—you’re part of the evening.

SHARI CHASKIN

A Calgary-based vocalist with a voice that is both powerful and deeply soulful, Shari has performed across Canada and the USA and shared stages with artists including Al Jarreau, Chantal Kreviazuk, Céline Dion, Tommy Banks and Oliver Jones.

She performed for 18 years with Calgary’s Prime Time Big Band and was an original cast member of the Montreal Bilingual Company and Canadian National Tour of Les Misérables.

But credentials only tell part of the story.

Shari lives every word she sings.

And when she steps onto the stage, she creates something that stays with you

long after the final note.

Getting to the Café-Théâtre

The Café-Théâtre is located inside La Cité des Rocheuses, at 4800 Richard Road SW, Calgary, Alberta, a French-speaking community centre in southwest Calgary.

By car:

From downtown Calgary, take Crowchild Trail SW southbound and exit onto Richard Road SW.

Parking:

Parking is free. Guests may use any available parking space on the La Cité des Rocheuses site. After 5:00 PM and on weekends, parking is also permitted in the École Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys parking lot.

By public transit:

La Cité des Rocheuses is served by several Calgary Transit bus routes. We recommend checking current schedules and route information before your trip.

Upon arrival:

Enter through the main entrance of La Cité des Rocheuses. The Café-Théâtre is located immediately to your left upon entering the building. Our team will be on site to welcome you and assist you if needed.

Doors open at 5:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to get settled and enjoy a meal or a drink before the performance begins at 7:30 PM.

Parking Information

Parking is free for Café-Théâtre guests.

You may use any available parking spaces on the La Cité des Rocheuses site.

In the evenings (after 5:00 PM) and on weekends, parking is also permitted in the École Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys parking lot.

We recommend arriving a little early to allow time to park and settle in comfortably before the performance.
