The EngiQueers Canada Conference is a national gathering celebrating LGBTQ+ students and professionals in engineering. Delegates from across the country come together for sessions, discussion groups, and panels, and to connect with queer-positive professionals who are shaping a more inclusive future in STEM. This year’s conference is a collaboration between EngiQueer student groups and industry professionals—offering a unique space to build community, expand networks, and support students as they transition into the workforce.

This year’s theme, Foundations for Resilience, builds on the idea that engineering is rooted in problem-solving—and so is advocacy. In a time when LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities continue to face rising adversity, we are focusing on how strong foundations in organization, collaboration, and care can help us sustain ourselves and each other. Together, we will explore questions such as: What does resilience in engineering look like? How do we navigate cultures and systems that make authenticity feel risky? How can we use our engineering mindset to design communities that help us thrive?

Registration includes lunch on both days and a ticket to the gala dinner, and professional attendees have full access to all sessions and panels. Wherever you are in your advocacy journey, we invite you to Vancouver to continue strengthening the structures that support your work, your wellbeing, and your leadership throughout your career and beyond.
