Chicago-based HIDE is not just an industrial band, but a multimedia, multisensory collaboration between visual artist Heather Gabel and percussionist Seth Sher. Rage and fear play a central role for the duo and in particular vocalist Gabel, whose decision to venture into the DIY music scene was sparked by a fear of the unknown - in contrast, HIDE’s gnashing rhythms and pulsating lyrics are meant to shock any and all oppressors. Enter the void!

Toronto’s S.H.I.T. do real raw hardcore punk that sounds like heaven. A pure product of the Toronto underground of the last few years, S.H.I.T. is a steam roller of heavy riffs and saturated guitars that scream loud and clear. whatwedoissecrete.bandcamp.com/

Dead Dog

Dead Dog is a Montréal-based pop industrial mongrel; a mix of digital dance beats and hard rhythms, with vocals in English and Spanish.

Dregqueen (Lees Brenson and Mitch Westcott) is a performative dragging of the refuse to unearth the previously unseen, with both eyes pried open. Formed in Montreal in 2018, Dregqueen’s music is best described as “Trans Femme body pop” driven off feeling, intended to make the audience move.

Balanced between post-punk, techno and ambient influences, PULSUM (Connor McComb) makes dance music that's charged with emotion. For the Montreal-based musician, 2019 saw the release of "The Fear You Give To Me" - an EP that moves through feelings of anxiety, melancholy, sadness, & frustration - yet sprinkled with ethereal breaks and moments of euphoria.
