On June 3 and 5, 2022, the Chœur classique de l'Outaouais invites you into the musical universe of Gabriel Fauré. The Choir will perform one of the most famous works in the entire repertoire of sacred music, the Requiem, a luminous, comforting and contemplative work, full of sweetness and hope.

"My Requiem, it has been said, does not express the fear of death. Someone called it a lullaby of death. But this is how I perceive death, as a happy deliverance, rather than a painful passage" - Fauré

To complement this program, the Choir will perform two other gems from Fauré's oeuvre: the melancholic Pavane and the unforgettable Cantique de Jean Racine.

 Musical Director: Tiphaine Legrand
