The Politiks est né de l’amour de quatre gars pour la musique, mais surtout de la passion pour la formation Coldplay qui, depuis plus d’une une décennie déjà, nous font vibrer avec des mélodies envoutantes et accrocheuses.
Avec 6 albums, des chansons comme : Yellow, Politik, Clocks, Magic, The scientist, Fix you, Paradise, Viva la vida, A Sky full of Stars, God put a smile et tellement d’autres, on peut dire que Coldplay fait parti des plus grands bands de la planète.
Les 4 membres de la formation se sont donnés comme mission de reproduire le plus fidèlement possible le groupe originale tout en représentant l’énergie qui se dégage à chacun de leurs spectacles.
Le but de « The Politiks»?? Vous faire oublier que vous regardez un hommage à Coldplay, mais bien que vous regardez Coldplay!

Four musicians from Montreal, Canada brought together to create a mix of alternative/indie rock, country and pop.
Having played the local hard rock circuit for many years twin brothers Ryan and Zander Boudreau (The Fierce) aspired to write music with a fresh direction and voice. Enter Vocalist/guitarist Gabrielle La Rue. A former member of local metal group God Falls who felt she had more to offer as an artist. With the first EP written and the group ready to track, the band needed a bass player to complete the sound. After several try-outs bassist Charles P. Giguere (Cardinal, Maken Kozapo and The High Dials) was recruited to join the band as a full time member.
Their debut EP "Cut & Run" (April 2016) is a more mature/polished sound and sonic proof of the bands dedication to producing quality releases.
