As the song says: Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion.

The time of Grease is the 1950s, the place is just about any high school in North America, and the motion is the unique music of the period: the energetic marriage of shoo-bop and rock and roll. The motion is also the exciting jiving dance frenzy. 

The show is the original stage musical with the addition of familiar songs created for the hit 1978 movie, including “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and, of course, the title song, “Grease.” 

Featuring a cast of veteran and new talent and a live band, Grease is the story of a group of high school teens rocking and rolling through the challenges of growing up.

L’époque de Grease, c'est les années 1950 ; le lieu, n’importe quelle école secondaire d’Amérique du Nord; le mouvement, bien c’est la musique unique de l'époque : un mariage énergique du shoo-bop et du rock ‘n roll. Ce mouvement est aussi la frénésie excitante de la danse jive.

Cette production est en version originale, enrichie de chansons emblématiques créées pour le film culte de 1978, dont « Hopelessly Devoted to You » et, bien sûr, la chanson titre, « Grease ».

Avec une distribution mêlant artistes chevronnés et nouveaux talents, accompagné par un groupe musical hors pair, Grease raconte l’histoire d’un groupe d’adolescents qui affrontent les défis de l’adolescence avec énergie et passion.
