Roselle Pineda

Roselle is a published curator, programmer and researcher. She teaches at the Department of Art Studies, University of the Philippines-Diliman, and is the Founder and Director of the Performance Curators Initiatives (PCI), the Aurora Artist Residency Program and Space (AARPS), and the Pangkat Gatilyo: Hip-Hop Theater Collective. She is currently enrolled in the PhD Creative Arts program at the University of Wollongong in Australia doing research on creative collaborations with indigenous peoples’ communities. Roselle is also the director of the video performances Sagot and Wang-wang.

Louise Jashil R. Sonido

Louise Jashil R. Sonido teaches at the University of the Philippines Department of English and Comparative Literature. As a teacher, scholar, multimedia artist, and cultural worker, she has a range of research interests transecting literary criticism, intellectual historiography, media and film scholarship, performance curation, and ethnographies of multimedia production. She is a member of the Congress of Teachers and Educators for Nationalism and Democracy (CONTEND-UP), the Concerned Artists of the Philippines, Aurora Artist Residency Program and Space, and the Performance Curators Initiatives. Louise is also the video artist for the video performances Sagot and Wang-wang.

Sari Dalena

Sari Dalena is a filmmaker and educator. She graduated from the University of the Philippines in Diliman with an undergraduate degree in Film and obtained her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film Production at the New York University through a Fulbright Scholarship. She was the recipient of the Asian Cultural Council Fellowship and Tisch School of the Arts (TSOA) Graduate Fellowship. Her first full-length film, “Ka Oryang” was awarded Best Picture and Best Director awards at the Cinema One Originals Film Festival in 2012. Her other notable works include White Funeral (1997), The Guerrilla is a Poet (2013), The Women of Malolos (2013), and Dahling Nick (2015). Sari is faculty member and former Director of the UP Film Institute.

John Carlo Nova

John Carlo Nova is an independent Director and Director of Photography. He is the founding Director of Victa Solutions Film and CineSambal Film Festival, which is a local film festival in Zambales, Philippines. His film entitled Shelter of Life won 3rd Best Film at the To Farm Film Festival in 2013. He has won Best Cinematography for Squatterina at the North Luzon Film Festival 2016 Featured in Cinema Rehiyon X, and Nagimaskan Mayyang (You are So Delicious Maria) was featured in CCDC Hong-Kong (Jumping Frames International Dance Film Festival 2019).

Gerone Centeno

Gerone Centeno is a filmmaker and cultural activist member of SIKAD, a multidisciplinary art organization advocating for the rights of the urban poor. He co-curates SIKAD’s alternative cinema project, CINEMARALITA, which holds screenings and discussions in poor communities and other alternative spaces. He currently heads its film program where he has produced, directed, and edited short documentaries and an experimental film. His short documentaries entitled KAYOD (Toil) are a day-in-the-life profiles that intend to shed light on the struggles of hardworking semi-workers from the urban poor sector who are constantly prejudiced against by and neglected by an elite-ruled status quo. He is also a film editor whose works have obtained awards and nominations from Cinemalaya, Gawad Urian, Cinema One Originals, Philippine Movie Press Club, EDDY’s, etc.
