DRØME

Drøme is a solo project led by F. Dupouy, that started in 2021. Mixing an ambient electro music with some reverberated guitars, Drøme tells us a story that mixes dream with nightmare, reality with imagination. He is inspired by dreams and travel memories to create a soothing, melancholy atmosphere, sometimes with catchy and darker outlines. 

A 1st 6 tracks EP was released on April 8, 2022. The following year, he moved to Montreal, and the bassist/keyboardist A. Tomeno joined the project.

"Echoes Within," their new EP, will be released on October 4, 2024, on Velouria Recordz in both vinyl and digital versions.

THE CITY GATES

Post-punk/shoegaze hybrid band The City Gates gained international recognition in the dark alternative music scene with their albums Age of Resilience (Icy Cold Records / Velouria Recordz) and Forever Orbiter. They toured in Europe, USA, Canada, played several music festival, in the like of Dark Spring Berlin, Kalamashoegazer, Dark Spring Boston, Return to the Batcave, and shared the stage with The Chameleons, A Place to Bury Strangers, Trisomie 21, Actors, Nothing, Ductape, and many more. Their electrifying live shows can be described as a relentless barrage of melodic guitars, explosive drums and aggressive bass, mixed with cathedral vocals, fused with energetic performances and visuals.
