REDFOX Based out of Montreal, Quebec, RedFox is a high energy folk band, focusing on contemporary and traditional blends with an emo twist. They are a five piece ensemble consisting of violin, banjo, guitar, bass and drums, led by Daphnée Vandal's dynamic voice. Their current discography includes 2023 CFMA award winning full length album “Stranger Love”, achieved with support from the Canada Council for the Arts, a second full length album "Letters in Violet", as well as two previous four track EPs.
RedFox has performed on a number of major Canadian festival stages including Frank Turner's Lost Evenings Festival (2024), Montreal Canal Fest (2024), Kingsville Folk Fest (2024), Stewart Park Fest (2024), Mariposa Folk Festival (2022), Summerfolk Music Festival (2022, 2023), Ottawa City Folk (2023), Kemptville Live Music Festival (2018, 2019, 2022, 2023), and more. In 2023, the group completed a 17 date tour of the United Kingdom, and 12 dates of the Canadian Maritimes. Most recently, the band spent the summer of 2024 touring their recently released full-length album "Letters in Violet" across Canada.
THE WILDERNESS is what you get when six chosen brothers from Kingston, ON spend nine years driving 100,000 miles for nothing but the love of rock n’ roll. Sometimes, you get songs like therapy sessions, oversharing to strangers about your weird relationship with your dad and how you thought you'd be young forever. Other times, you get your mum's favourite would-be arena band crammed into your hometown's sweatiest dive bar on a Tuesday night with rent due in the morning. No matter what, you get the hardest-working, harmony-belting, saxophone-growling, cowboy-chord-strumming, tambourine throwing small-town rock n’ roll band your friends have probably never heard of, in it for the long haul from 2015 - forever
PATER : when i was 11 years old my family had a shih tzu named popcorn. then my siblings were born and popcorn started pooping everywhere to get attention. so my parents made me sell popcorn on kijiji. i lost my best friend but made $200! i used that $200 to buy my first guitar. i've been drowning my sorrows in little tunes ever since.

"That's the kind of song I wish I wrote" - Frank Turner, on "Strangers I Used to Love"
"Like a Canadian Noah Kahan backed by the E-Street Band" - Steve Foley, JUNO winning producer
"A band of brothers, like every good band should be" - Rob Baker (the Tragically Hip)
What is The Wilderness? Depends who you ask. If you ask a new fan, it's belting songs about the weight of the world on your shoulders with a few hundred strangers instead of going to therapy. If you ask an old fan, it's dancing in a sweaty dive bar, wondering "how the hell is a band with this energy not massive yet?". If you ask the band, we'll say its just five rock-star wannabes from Kingston, Ontario with 10 years, 800 shows, and 100,000km under our belts, but if you dig a little deeper, we'll show you why we're the best damn harmony-belting, saxophone-growling, cowboy-chord-strumming, tambourine-throwing, independent rock n’ roll band you can still catch up close and personal.
