Erika Angell

The Swedish vocalist Erika Angell has been a fixture of the Montréal experimental music scene for over a decade, with her genre-defying band Thus Owls as a central project. Her voice has been described as “a guiding presence” (Exclaim!) that “sits alongside the greatest indie female artists who are not afraid of anything” (Le Devoir). Angell was recently signed to the legendary label Constellation and announced that she will be releasing new music as a solo artist, an electroacoustic work of unfettered vocal exploration and expressionist avant-electronic composition. Pantoum will be the first to premier her new performance in Quebec City.
