Established as a four-piece band in 2019, Mivule delivers a unique blend of reggae, afrobeat, dub, and world music. Lead singer Brian Baroda draws inspiration from his experience as a refugee from South Sudan, infusing his music with messages of hope in both English and East African languages. Currently, Mivule is producing their debut album with support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
