Jonathan Davies est un chansonnier multilingue. C’est dans les communautés francophones de l’ouest qu’il a connu ses formations en écriture et performance scénique les plus significatives. Il a participé aux festivals Gala albertain de la chanson d’Edmonton (lauréat 2006), et Chant'ouest à Winnipeg (2006). Il a lancé son premier album "La lumière entre par en dedans" en janvier 2023.

Les membres de Django's Kitchen habitent à Kingston, en Ontario. Nous jouons de la musique dans le style de Django Reinhardt et Stéphane Grappelli, souvent appelé Jazz Manouche. Les chansons incluent des œuvres de compositeurs français classiques tels que Charles Trenet, George Ulmer, Hubert Giraud et bien sûr Django et Stéphane, en plus de compositeurs contemporains comme la Canadienne Christine Tassan.

 

Jonathan Davies is a Kingston-region-based bilingual singer-songwriter. Originally from Alberta, he began developing French-language repertoire during his participation in the "Gala albertain de la chanson," (laureate of the 2006 edition) and went on to perform at "Chant'ouest" in Winnipeg. He is an active performer and has released his French-language album "La lumière entre par en dedans" in january 2023.

 

The members of Django’s Kitchen live in Kingston, Ontario, performing music in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, referred to as Gypsy Jazz or Jazz Manouche. Songs include works by classic French composers including Charles Trenet, George Ulmer, Hubert Giraud, and of course Django and Stephane, in addition to contemporary composers like Canadian Christine Tassan.
