British writer Robert MacFarlane receives the Blue Metropolis Planet Literature Prize for his body of work. This prize is awarded to a writer who shows the beauty of the living world, demonstrates its fragility and, in so doing, promotes greater ecological awareness, while affirming the power of literature in the face of reality.
