Translation plays with borders and builds bridges between cultures. Seen from Europe or North America, some languages seem further away than, say, English, French or Spanish. But are they really, and if so, in what sense? Distant from whom? Close to what? Three professionals with links to Ukrainian (Rostyslav Nyemtsev), Korean (Anton Hur) and Swedish (Patrik Tornéus) discuss the specific features of each language and what can bring them closer together.
Participants : Rostyslav Nyemtsev, Anton Hur, Patrik Tornéus
Moderator/Modératrice : Katia Grubisic
