Sponsored by the Embassy of Argentina in Canada, the wonderful singer Maria Volonte is presented in concert with its program Blue Tango Project on Thursday, September 29, 19:00 hrs. in the St-John The Evangelist Church Church, 154 Sommerset West St. at the corner of Elgin St.
Maria Volonte, voice and guitar, will be accompanied by Kevin Carrel Footer on Harmonica. Maria Volonte is one of the great voices of contemporary Argentina. A couple of professional tango dancers are part of the concert lasting approximately an hour and thirty minutes.
Maria Volonte Blue Tango Project is actually in a North-American Tour USA/Canada. She has been touring from Buenos Aires and all Europe.
First time in Ottawa on September 29 and then in Montreal, on October 1 at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and in Quebec city at Espace Hyperion on Sunday, October 2.
Tickets $ 25 in presale + taxes - in advance - and this promotion expires on Monday 26 September.
From Tuesday September 27, until the day of the concert at the door, the entrance fee is $ 35 including tax.
