Literature is constantly changing, including through heritage. More than ever, this anniversary edition intends to draw on important writers and thinkers whose work and research make the often confused or tormented past readable and allow us to glimpse the future. A choice of writers attempt to answer the question: What colour will the future be? Following this, the French economist Esther Duflo, Abdul Latif Jameel Professor of Poverty Reduction and Development Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Department of Economics and co-recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2019, receives the 2023 Prix Lumières sur les inégalités, awarded in partnership with the Observatoire québécois des inégalités.
