Zoé Jean-Deslauriers

Zoé Jean-Deslauriers is a jazz singer-songwriter. She holds a bachelor's degree in jazz performance from the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, and studied with well-known musicians from the jazz scene, including Ranee Lee, Sienna Dahlen, Carlos Jiménez and Marjorie Fiset. Her first single, soft and colorful, Lointains souvenirs, was released on all streaming platforms in May 2020. Her first album, financially supported by Musicaction and  CALQ, was released on August 26, 2022. Following the release of this album, several influential people including Stanley Péan and Laila Biali expressed publicly their appreciation for her music and broadcasted it on the radio.

Over the past few years, Zoé has had the chance to perform in Montreal in restaurants, cafes, bars and performance halls as well as in corporate events and festivals including the Festival Bières et Saveurs of Chambly and the Festival Classica.  She has played with her band in several Montreal institutions including the Café Résonance, the Upstairs, the Quai des Brumes, the Dièse Onze. A 'Summer Gaspesian', Zoé has played alone with her keyboard in bars and restaurants in and around Percé, as well as with her band at the Vieille Usine of Anse-à-Beaufils.
