The Icecream Sellers relates the story of Rohingya genocide survivors who fled from Myanmar into Bangladesh. While the majority of the Rohingya community were weighed down by the traumatic experience, two young siblings begin a new life through hard work selling cheap icecream door to door in the world's largest refugee camp. Their goal is to earn enough money to bribe prison officials in Myanmar to release their father. Soheil Rahman unleashes a story of tragedy and childlike courage, following the parents' tale of flight from their hometown and also the laughter and irrepressible spirit of the children.
