Ananta Chauhan

Ananta Chauhan, aka Baljit Kaur, is an educator, consultant, Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Certified Practitioner in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, having trained since 2005 in New Zealand and Canada. She is currently completing the requirements for becoming a Trainer Educator Practitioner (TEP) with the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. She holds a Ph.D. in Specific Learning Disabilities and Master’s degree in Psychology and Education. Ananta uses psychodrama and sociometry with groups and individuals drawing on her extensive experience of working with children, families and women, and of university teaching for over 30 years in New Zealand, India and Canada. Her passion lies in using action methods to enliven professional and personal experiences for herself and others, particularly working with diverse abilities and cultural backgrounds.

Christine Lavoie

Christine is a trainer, activist, educator and psychotherapist. She has taught Psychology at the college level for 25 years and has been studying psychodrama for 12 years, first with Tobi Klein in Montreal and more recently with the Toronto Centre for Psychodrama and Sociometry. She has done Playback theatre for eight years: six years in Montreal starting with Ollin Théâtre Transformation and then Promito Playback, and currently in Ottawa with Ottawa Playback Theatre. Christine finds her flow experience in helping other’s uncover their truth through their stories. She currently resides in Heron Bay, Ontario.
