Universe Effects livre une musique rock/métal progressive dynamique, épique, créative et raffinée. L’objectif du groupe est de rallier de manière originale les sonorités modernes aux racines du style progressif. En effet, La formation a travaillé d’arrache-pied pour autoproduire et offrir une qualité de composition et d’enregistrement de calibre international pour son tout premier album, In the Haze that Surrounds Us, qui fut lancé en février 2015. L’album qui regroupe 8 compositions originales a déjà reçu un accueil favorable au Québec et à l’international.
Cydemind
In a world where so much music is bland and generic, CYDEMIND are a breath of fresh air! Mixing progressive rock, jazz, classical, and progressive metal, CYDEMIND are a special and unique band, one we’ll be hearing a lot more from in the future. Influenced by such bands as Dream Theater, Symphony X, Haken, Neal Morse Band, and jazzmen like Avishai Cohen and Tigran Hamasyan, violinist Olivier Allard describes their sound as “violin meets instrumental prog metal!”.
Prolific artists, CYDEMIND released ‘Through Mists and Ages’ in 2014 and their single ‘What Remains’ in 2015, and now the quintet (violin, bass, piano, guitar, drums) have just released their first full-length album. Entitled ‘Erosion’, its six tracks are centered around the theme of nature and its persistence through time. Epic is the word here, with one track clocking in at an impressive 27 minutes

Pyramid Theorem
Formed in 2007, Pyramid Theorem is a Progressive Hard Rock band consisting of members; Vic Dee (Drums), Samuel Ermellini (Lead Guitars/Vocals), Christian Di Mambro(Bass/Vocals) and Stephan Di Mambro (Keyboards/Guitars/Vocals). They have spent the time on stage, and off, honing their skills as players and performers in Toronto’s exploding music scene sharing the stage with the likes of Symphony X, Periphery, Finger Eleven, to name a few. They have carved out a reputation for being the most eye-popping, mind-melting show in town...Surprise!
